slowly but surely...

I really don't like clicking on circles to move, but the game is a great improvement upon the earlier installments of the series.

the first chapter was a lot more interesting

Though sequels are rarely better than their predicessors, I was expecting this to be greatly improved, because there was a lot of time between the submission of the two games.

it's not a very good rpg

I wouldn't call this an engine, because it isn't made for others to use, and I wouldn't consider it a decent rpg, because I have seen RPGs using keyboard controls and being Final Fantasy quality in Flash 5. Granted, this is a very old NG submission, and I only made my first RPG engine for Flash 5 in 2002 or so. Kudos on something interesting.

Your average doll app.

This is your average drag-and-drop dress-up doll without the doll. You slapped on a loop of Halo 1 music, which I like, but you didn't put much effort into the sound design. The interface is virtually non-existant. All you do and drag pixelated body parts around on a screen. Not much fun to be had.

You pulled it off.

This is nice as a minigame for a greater game, but I doubt you could turn it into a fully functional flash game. That said, I think it's fun. I like the cut to an actual Halo guy whenever you die. You should add in a weapon to shoot with. It's weird just clicking on things.

There's actually a bit of humor in there...

I thought the dust ball thing floating past the screen was pretty funny. The game is a little too simple for my tastes, but I think you did a great job.

Could be so much better...

This has potential, but you'd have to start over on the coding. Instead of having object-based buttons, use variables, because I don't want to have to start over if I switch from the warthog to the tank and back.

Also, the turrets aren't very well drawn and don't match the Halo universe. The decals would be good if they actually looked like they were painted onto the vehicle. And the 'marine' looks nothing like a Halo character.

I see a lot of effort was put into this, but...

...the quality of the graphics is somewhat low, and the animation is pretty much non-existant. There is no music, and the sound effects are repetitive. The sheer fact that it's a Zelda fan game might get it a higher score than it deserves, but I'm only a fan of the Zelda games for the gameplay; not the player character. There were parts of this game I found somewhat humorous, though. There were subtle jokes hidden in the game as dialogue or scenes. Beyond the jokes, however, this game doesn't deliver....

Not bad, not good...

I like that people are starting to make more RS-related games, but you didn't put much effort into the drawings. However, this makes a nice companion to my Fantasy Female series, because Elf Maker is male type stuff, and Fantasy Female is female type stuff. Mine isn't RS-related, but it has RS type stuff in it, so you can easily make a RS character using my dress-up game.

I suggest you do what I did and separate the colors from the clothing types. You may want to add music and solid color backgrounds. I also think you should make higher quality artwork for your games. The drawings look too sloppy.

Crap.

First, there is no working loading screen. You need one. Second, the title screen has very ugly men from reality... ew.

Now that the 'movie' (which is actually a game) has loaded, I must say "THIS SUCKS!" because it is basicly only two images with a bunch of variables. It is extremely boring and reminds me of the first M:tG computer game I ever played. I do NOT recommend this NG submission to anyone. I hate it.
